Many famous drivers were racing the Spitfires during 1964 and 1965. Beside
many well known british drivers like Terry Hunter, Alan Taylor and Roy Fidler and the womens team of
Pirie/Reeves some well known international drivers add some glory to the name of this beautiful and competitive car. The more famous may be Simo Lampinen, Claude Dubois and Rob Slotemater but not to forget successful drivers like Thuner/Gretener from the Swiss team, the french Piot/Marnat and the American Le Mans ‘64 Team Rothschild/Tullius.
